Jefferson Telecom is currently in the planning stages with initial site visits as the first step. At that time, a technician will be going door-to-door to eligible residents for the Jefferson Telecom fiber buildout project. Please realize that there is NO CHARGE for fiber to be connected to your home at this time. Once your home is equipped with a fiber-optic broadband connection, you can order services from Jefferson Telecom with speeds up to a Gigabit connection (940 Mbps). If you choose not to connect fiber to your home and change your mind at a later date or a new homeowner desires fiber, they will be charged for installation.
